Who we are

We are a group of 100+ who enjoy the fun and challenge of Scottish Country Dancing. We are all ages and all backgrounds (no, you don't have to be Scottish!) We provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere for learning the dance and enjoying each other's company.

What we do

We have weekly classes from September to May where our experienced teachers provide instruction on all the facets of Scottish Country Dance. In September we have a free welcome dance, but we also welcome newcomers to come to our beginner class anytime to check it out. Your first 3 classes are free!

Join Us!

When you decide Scottish Country Dance is for you and are ready to attend classes, you can register as a member. In addition to our classes, membership includes our monthly newsletter giving news on our dances and events, and membership in the global RSCDS organization. We look forward to seeing you!

Due to a church event, there will be no Level 1/2 class on Thursday April 24th.

Spring Ball

The Spring Ball is nearly here! You can look forward to a delicious canape reception and dancing to the live music of Atlantic Firth. See all the details and register for tickets on the ball page. A practice for the ball will be held on April 22nd, 6:30pm at Parkdale United Church.

Mini Workshop

April 27, 2025 @ 2:00 PM

Churchill Senior Centre

The final in a series of mini workshops sponsored by our Branch and Ardbrae. The focus is on Level 1 skills, all are welcome and encouraged to attend. Family members of all ages are also welcome. Doors open at 1:30. Cost is $5 at the door.

AGM Meeting/Dance

May 9, 2025 @ 7pm

Parkdale United Church

Meeting starts at 7pm, members only. Dance starts at 8pm and is free to all.
